Comment :
This course starts off hard as it has a lot math and proofs in the beginning but that changes after the midterm. If you put in the work in this course, you will come out with a high mark. Balka does a great job teaching the material and at times you can relate the material to real-life examples and that\'s when the course becomes really interesting to learn about. On the flip side, if you have no interest in Stats, this is NOT the course to take. Assignments can be tricky, but Dr. Balka does a great job explaining how to approach the problems and if you put in the effort, you will do well on the assignments. It also helps if you have a programming background because 4 out of the 5 assignments require you to work in R and SAS, but it\'s not necessary. The midterm however was one of the hardest midterms I\'ve written but that could change from year to year, but make sure you study well for the midterm.
