Took it in my 3rd yr and I overheard all the first years complaining in class about how hard it is. It is honestly an easy 90. I probably spent 10hrs total in the semester on this class. Prof was good and relatively interesting.

Where do I begin? Not only was the content super dry, Mendoza had an extremely heavy accent. I'm talking extremely heavy. Half of the time no one knew what he was even saying, which wouldn't matter so much if he just read off slides, but he would try and expand on slide topics and following him was nearly impossible. I know he meant well, but for myself and many others who were in the class it was pretty brutal to have no idea what was going on. That being said the main project wasn't so bad, but overall I definitely wouldn't recommend this course.

The prof was fine but I did not enjoy the course material. It was divided into three parts. The first part was simple and easy to understand. The second was pure economics, which wasn't appealing to me. And lastly, the third part was mainly about policies.

This prof is incredibly enjoyable. He is knowledgable and active in the field. I found the textbook very easy to read, as the heading and chapters followed the exact same format as the lectures. It is quite heavy on the econ, so I would recommend taking micro econ before this course.

Interesting class, pretty easy, they use the same quizzes year to year. Henson is interesting and very British but the sub prof is very difficult to understand.
