Comment :
Not as much theory as ANTH 3690, recommend doing 3690 prior to this course as it helps with the theory parts. Looks at kinship systems around the world in modern day and in the past. How kinship is organized, new ways of creating kinship and how it is viewed in different cultures. Two midterms, group quizzes and a take home final. Pretty interesting material and not too heavy on theory.
