Course material was interesting, but there was a lot of reading material to keep on top of. The midterm and exams were fair but are heavily dependent on the lecture material so make sure you go to class!

Interesting class, I took it with Prof. Rose so her lectures were based around her work in the Caribbean. I think the class topics depend more on the professor and their own work experiences with a particular culture. A good class if you want an in depth look at one culture.

I actually found it quite interesting, If you like Anthropology and you like learning about different cultures in depth and see how different people view life in a different way, which is technically implied because it is an ANTHROPOLOGY course, its really interesting. The prof talks about her experiences in the Caribbean as well as history and current issues. Since it's about the Caribbean, you will find alot of wannabe rasta's in the class with halfway there dreadlocks

This class was a waste of time, the prof only talked about her work in the carribean and played the same 3 movies she showed in an into class. It's no where near as interesting as it sounds. I don't recomend taking it.
