Comment :
This course starts off as the easiest thing possible and then after the midterm, you blink and go what happened?! The course material jumps in difficulty practically in one class and it doesn\'t get an easier after. This course will require you to put in the hours outside of class to fully understand the material. If possible, I would recommend having a Prof other than Carter, his notes are very much all over the place and pretty disorganized that going to class barely helps. He does have however very short assignments and will post solutions after so at least that\'s good. Overall, unless you need this class for your minor or major, I would not recommend it.

Very tough assignments, though that was counter balanced with lots of solved problems available on courselink and a very easy midterm. Crib sheets were allowed for both the midterm and final, so there was no need to memorize formulas, just know how to use them. You definitely need to know how to do integrals well to succeed.

As previous commenter mentioned, strong math skills are important for this course. Definitely an essential course if you're going to pursue stats though. I had Radhey Singh, and would recommend avoiding him if possible. His notes are really scattered, so you'll be learning from the text book.

This course is hard if you don't have strong basic math skills (differentiation, integration ect.) But as a whole, it doesn't cover an overwhelming amount of material. Once you get it, everything wraps up nicely. It's definitely a 'snowball' course, everything builds on previous topics a lot. As a whole, its not that bad, but be prepared to work.
