The viewpoint taken in the course is that of the senior financial officer of a business firm. The focus is on the management of cash, accounts receivable, inventory and short and intermediate term liabilities. Emphasis is placed on the analysis and forecasting of financial statements, and financial modeling for planning and controlling the growth of the business enterprise.

Take this class online. Trent Tucker teaches it in class and he\'s awful. Class average is at least 10% higher online because it is taught by Ruben Burga, who unlike Trent Tucker, wants his students to succeed.

The midterm for Carty's class was far easier than with Braga. You get marked for participation in the cases during class and there is no final with Carty. Pretty interesting class to be honest - I suggest taking it was Carty, she's a nice lady.
