Very mixed feelings about this course. If you are interested and passionate about theatre this class is definitely for you. On the other hand, I enrolled in this course expecting an easy grade and also to explore a field that I am not too familiar with. The classes were not engaging, the plays were dreadful. If you know nothing about theatre you will be lost the entire time. I thought they would take the class to see plays that were interesting and help promote theatre to the people that are willing to give it a shot. This course has thought me that theatre is a dying industry. Overall, easy A, you don\'t need to go to class or buy the book, just know a friend who takes good notes.

Rick is annoying. Assignment requirements are the most unclear. Our TA had trouble figuring out what he wanted. He can be really confusing. Going to the plays are fun (you're charged the $100 regardless of whether you attend them all or not), but the lectures are pretty boring, and he posts the same slides online anyway. Your mark may depend on your TA.

Course was super easy, and there were some really good lectures, and some really mediocre ones too. You get to see a bunch of plays though which is a lot of fun, just make sure that show dates don't conflict with other courses.
