Comment :
If Parnaby is the professor DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, him and his TA\'s mark so hard. It is NOT worth it, even went to him for help, went to all lectures and did readings but still had horrible unexpected marks. Struggled to even pass this class, they literally did not care. Awful class

I found this class, under Parnaby, to be really interesting if you're willing to put the work into it. He makes it different from the same old lectures, and the same old boring readings. Parnaby is not that bad at ALL. Yes he tends to mark a little harder, but he's very accomodating with office hours and he tends to tell you straight up what his expectations are.

had a horrible experience taking this class with professor Patrick Parnaby. For a third year class he expected far too much and marked extremely hard. I struggled just to pass, despite reading all the assigned readings. Do not take this course if he is teaching it, it is unfair and all around more work than you should have to be doing.
