Comment :
Very helpful for students going into research. Other than that, I would steer away from this course. It might actually be the most boring course at guelph. Fenske was a good prof, gave really good advice to writing our papers and assignments. However, there was no way to really make the course material interesting so his lectures were very boring and hard to follow. The material isn't that difficult, as long as you've taking statistics. If you don't have a grasp on stats very well, you may have some difficulty. I recommend the textbook because it explains everything very well and often better than the lectures did.

Fenske is a good prof, but there's really nothing a prof can do to make this material any better. It's extremely repetitive and dry material. The assignments are incredibly boring (especially the research paper). I wouldn't take it unless I had to.

Kind of repetitive, covers a lot of the same material from quantification and Research Stats, but I enjoy Fenske as a prof. The Research paper is brutal though!
