POLS * 3490 – Conflict and Conflict Resolution F (3-0) [0.50]

This course will examine the growing body of literature which considers violent conflict and its management. Comment :
I agree with the first commenter, who said that this is one of the best courses at the U of G. Spears really challenges students to think about different perspectives that you wouldn't nescessarily find elsewhere. Even if you're not in politics, and just want to understand a bit more about what you see in the news, definitely take this course!

Probably the best class I have taken. I would absolutely recommend it, especially if Spears is teaching it. It is NOT an easy credit but very interesting and opens your mind to things you would not learn about elsewhere. Unfortunately there is alot of reading but it is exciting material and weekly quizzes on the readings make it worthwhile. BONUS: the semester I took it, there was no textbook but just free articles posted on the online course reserves.
