I was surprised how much I liked this class. It was much more directed to philosophy than politics, with readings from Socrates, Plato, etc. The textbook and required readings appear HUGE and overwhelming but I found they were not necessary if you attend lectures on a regular basis. The readings are basically just summed up in class and if you understand the basic concepts, you will ace it.
