Comment :
This class is not like any class you will take in university. It's really hands on and it's a nice break from the typical learn, study, exam. There is a group project where you make a functional food, a few written assignments and a take home exam. The prof is really great too although he can be vague on what he wants for assignments.

Comment :
This is the most unorganized class with absolutely zero structure. Assignments are marked without any rubric or understanding about what the criteria is in order to do well. The lectures were pointless, the labs did not correspond with the material at all. Overall, I would not recommend this course to anyone who does not have to take it. As well, 40% of your mark is based on a group project, so run away!

Fun course, you get to develop a functional food product and market it. Lots of interesting info is covered, but i would have liked some of the lecture to be more didactic.
