Comment :
Great course, the prof tells you exactly what to study and what not to study for the midterm/final during the lectures. Although there is a lot of content for both the midterm/final, if you study (basically memorize the lec slides) it's not hard to get a really good mark!

This class is really straight forward. If you study her lecture slides you will do fine. Having a copy of the midterm and the final will be a really big help. I would also suggest writing the optional research paper especially if you didn't do so well on the midterm. If you choose to write the paper I would highly suggest going to talk to her about it, she will give you guidance and you can really earn a good mark from it.

Really enjoyed the course, Duncan was a good prof liked her a lot. Midterm was very fair, tons of material to cover just have to put the effort in. If you enjoyed Fundamentals, 3210, you should like this course too. 1st half is all about the vitamins/minerals yet surprisingly didn't get into nearly as much detail as Fundamentals, 2nd half is phytochemicals. No textbook to buy either.

Great course! Learn the biochemical functions of all the major vitamins, and also a crash course on phytochemicals. Lots of material to cover, BUT it is very interesting and the tests are fair. This course could be split into 2 courses so that each section could have more depth.
