Comment :
Took this course to give jazz a chance and found it was pretty interesting and not what I thought it was. Looks at the start of blues and works its way to modern jazz. Goes through soul, bebop, scat, ragtime etc. Interesting course that looks at major players, instruments, major songs and socially what was happening at the time. A reflection paper on the weekly discussions and a final. Took it online, recommend the course to get a new perspective on jazz.
