Comment :
DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE!!! I took the course based off the reviews of the others. THEY ARE FALSE. The course itself is easy until the final exam. Went into the exam with an 80% and it has now significantly dropped. Too much is expected to be known for the exam and the prof is not helpful. The info she releases to study was barely covered on the exam and Left me in Tears. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE

If you can fit this course into your schedule over your 4 or 5 years at Guelph, do it. This course is extremely eye opening in the sense that it can really give you a good idea as to what you need to do budget, filling out taxes, what investments to make and overall how to achieve personal financial goals. Half the material is dry, and you need to be prepared to do a lot of reading. The course isn\'t really hard at all, but you need to keep up with the chapter readings. Do that, and you\'ll be fine and pass with a good mark. If you want to figure out how to manage your money from when you leave university on wards and learn to manage your money so you can be successful in life, I strongly recommend taking this as one of your electives.

Good class to take as an mcs major for an elective. Useful stuff to know, and the assignments are easy enough to do well in the course.

Content is mostly intuitive, but eye opening. If used properly it could really change your spending/saving patterns. DE prof is helpful and fair.
