Comment :
I took this course DE, but it was the first semester it was being offered online so there were a lot of problems with the assignments. If you are taking it in 2013 DE than be prepared because there will still be problems. DeCoste didn't seem to know how any of the assignments worked, which was very frustrating. It was a lot of work for a DE elective but if you did it consistently you would get easy 100% on all quizzes. The midterms were easy too. The final is very fair, based on conjugation, there is no vocab. Try to take the course in class. If you take it online, however the textbook is required. I don't know if you take it in class but it is helpful.

I loved this course. I liked the fact that the professor took the time to learn everyone's name and was able to recognize when students were having problems with certain aspects of the course.
