This course covers laboratory techniques which are central to human biology, together with their underlying concepts. Human performance and function are evaluated through cellular, organic, systemic and whole person studies. The student’s technical competence and conceptual understanding are emphasized.

Comment :
None of the content is too difficult, the labs take a lot of time though. The first lab sucks, but as you get faster and better at doing them I found my scientific writing got a lot better. The two midterms are a bit random considering it\'s a lab course - Dr. Burr\'s contained things he barely mentioned in class but wasn\'t too bad, Dr. Bent\'s was very long (a lot of writing) but super fair. If you follow the rubric for all of the labs and put in a good effort to study for the midterms it is possible to get a high grade.

- overall a pretty good course - lecture material is pretty basic stuff, nothing too hard conceptually - what makes it worth .75 are the lab write ups - you leave the course rather sufficient in lab write-ups if you put your part in
