HK * 3100 – Neuromuscular Physiology W (3-0) [0.50]

Normal muscle movement is controlled by the motor cortex or by reflexes within the context of the sensory environment. This course will introduce key concepts in motor control of mammalian, human movement, coordination of movement, motor program selection, motor program execution, motor unit recruitment, skeletal muscle excitation-contraction coupling. This course is required for students wishing to gain certification by the Ontario Kinesiology Association.

Course was very content heavy, but as long as you keep on top of the material then the material is a lot easier.

Dr Bent was interesting and tried to make the material as enjoyable as possible.. I found the content to be a bit dry.. There is only a midterm final and journal critique. I found the midterm and final to be fair however, the marking was a bit on the harsh side. I wouldn't recommend taking this course to boost your average but overall it was a pretty decent course.
