I loved this course! The course basically takes the concepts from PHYS*1080 and applies them. The course is very repetitive, the midterm was very straightforward but beware Lori puts a long angular velocity question on it. No textbook required.

This is a good course. It's not as easy as you might think but it is fun. Most of the material throughout the semester is repetetive. You need to attend classes or catchup with every class. There is a LOT of math/calculations etc. involved. The professors are really good at understanding the material. Midterm was easy and fair. However, the final was brutal and long. I am sure no one was able to finish it. It was really long. I had a really great average before the final. Because it was the first these profs were teaching the course, there was some trial and error on the length of the final exam but I think it should be better this year. Great/Funny profs.

First half of this course is a joke, basically a review of first year physics. Second half is a little trickier with more theory. Everyone did really well on the midterm so they made the final ridiculously long... I don't think anyone finished in time. So know your sh*t for the final.
