I took this course online in the summer. We focused on a lot of interesting stuff (like the battle of hastings). I definitely recommend buying all the textbooks and keeping up with reading! I thought this would be a bird course but the quizzes were actually quite difficult to do, especially if you didn't do the readings. If that doesn't convince you to buy the required books, for essays we were only allowed to use our textbooks, course reader, and course guide. Kind of limiting, but it was also good since it helped familiarize me with the material. Overall, I found this to be a very good course, just don't expect to get a good mark if don't do the readings or any of the online modules.

I took this course online. It will be an interesting course if you enjoy medieval history. Focuses were on the Battle of Hastings, the Black Plague, Gerald of Wales, and the Reformation. You also need to learn about the medieval monarchy in Britain. The quizzes definitely required studying and there were a few essays which required some dedication, but nothing overly difficult.
