Took this course as my elective via distance ed. Very easy average booster. We had textbook readings accompanied with weekly discussion posts. The final project was to make up a child, and do a scrapbook of it's development throughout life. Very easy, but very time consuming if you don't like arts & crafts. I aced it with a 100, all you have to do is follow the easy rubric. Started off reading the textbook, and I do recommend it. But I strongly recommend joining a chapter summary group, and using condensed versions of their notes for studying for the midterm/final. The midterm was 85 questions in 45 minutes online, and was a bit tricky. The final was a joke. If you can understand the English language you can pass this class with an average-boosting grade.

Taken via DE, very easy course. The only work was some 80 odd pages of textbook reading every week coupled with weekly discussions.

So easy.. if you need to take an elective take this class! You raise a virtual child and make a scrapbook for it. The prof is really funny, pretty much the only reason I went to the lectures because she puts them all online. She was kind of confusing about the assignments though but its easy to figure out. I got 89 on the first midterm without even trying and 80 on the second. She bases the midterms and exams on both the lecture slides and the textbooks so I would recumbent you buy it.

Pretty easy course overall. I had Smit-Quosai as my prof, and she was alright. Her lectures were pretty much a rehash of the textbook readings with a little bit of added info. You had to participate in weekly discussions (you were given participation marks) and there were two reflection papers, and a final. The final was ridiculously easy. The content was pretty interesting too. Take it if you are looking for an easy A!
