Comment :
This course could have been a lot more interesting if the method of instruction was mixed up once and a while. Classes were always the same: lecture or read and analyse exerts. One of the assignments included watching half an hour episodes of a Quebec TV series in a group. However, the prof didnt give any background or anything so the first episodes were confusing and overall not that interesting. There was also an independent novel and essay which was fairly easy. Too bad this class is mandatory!

This course as fun. I learned a lot of about the society and literature in Quebec. The teacher was good, however, there was a lot of work to do and you just need to keep up when taking the course.
