ENGL * 3360 – Scottish Literary Cultures F (3-0) [0.50]

This course explores selected issues and ideas within this national literature, from the sixteenth to the early twentieth centuries, but with a primary focus on literature of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Special attention is given to issues relating to nationhood, identity, religion, colonialism, gender, and class in relation to selected examples from literary texts and folktales.
