Barely passed the course. The course is taught in two semesters in other universities but in guelph its condensed to one semester so be prepared for a lot of content in both quantity and difficulty. Going to lectures alone will not help, you need to revise the content after every class. On the upside, if you study and understand the content it is very rewarding as you will gain knowledge about MOSFETs (which is the \"atom\" of any modern computers).

Hardest course I have taken so far! Prof\'s notes are good but its tough to understand him and he doesn\'t go through enough examples. The tutorials and study sessions are the only place you will learn stuff, so make sure to go to those. Midterm was tough, with an average of 40-50. Labs are challenging, but were marked fairly easily. Lab test is also marked easily. The final was challenging but a lot more fair than the midterm. The midterm and final both featured questions I never saw before. It was clear that a lot of people failed this class, since about half of the class I did not recognize from my year. This course is A LOT harder than circuits. Good luck, study a lot!
