Professor : Prof. Mussa

Comment :
The course can be challenging if you haven't done matrices before. You are not allowed to use calculators during midterms as well as final exam, so be sure to try all the textbook examples and work on your math-speed otherwise you won't be able to finish the exams on time. If you are confused about something, just ask the TAs for help because they explain the concepts better.

A lot of people had problems with this course but I honestly have no idea how and i hated using a matrix before this course. If you have a good memory and good at simple mental math you'll be fine

Professor : Anthony Vanelli

Comment :
Not an incredibly difficult course, but most people find it quite boring (although I didn't). Requires a lot of memorizing of methods, and practicing them. The methods used aren't all that difficult, but they are unlike anything I had done previously. Textbook is a must (if Vanelli is the prof).

Math course. Nasty math course. If you can't do this stuff, might as well pack it in. Textbook helped when lectures did not.
