Comment :
If you decide to go to class, dont get the textbook. Bower used the textbook to teach, never added anything, straight from the book. Even examples were from there. Super boring, almost fell asleep like every lecture. It was mandatory for me, but if you have a choice, Id suggest intro to Microeconomics instead, so much more interesting. Probably couldve taught myself the course through the textbook without going to lecture

The class was not mandatory to attend as all notes were put online. However, he is a pretty interesting guy to listen to and answers questions very well. There was an option for a 100% final, otherwise there were weekly assignments that had unlimited tries and a single midterm, which people did surprisingly bad on, though I found it easy. Just do the work and you should be fine.

Prof was super boring. She pretty much talked about the textbook, nothing new. Probably couldve gotten the same mark without going to class and just reading the textbook.

Probably the only econ course that I took for which I had genuine interest. It's not hard and you'll do well if you read the textbook. I don't think I learned anything by attending class to be honest.
