This course is an introduction to the process of image processing. Emphasis is placed on topics such as image enhancement, segmentation morphological
analysis, texture analysis, visualization and image transformations. Applications of image processing in medicine, forensics, food and security are surveyed. (Offered in odd-numbered years.)
