Comment :
Tam is an amazing professor, best I\'ve had yet. Course is a crazy amount of work. The labs take hours each week and don\'t even relate to the course content... should be worth more than 0.50 credit. Up to the first midterm it is really easy to do well in... after that, the reactions come at you SO fast and there are SO many. Be prepared to keep on top of it and spend 20+ hours a week in this class to do well.

This is challenging course because it requires a lot of work but Dr. Tam is such a great professor. I would highly recommend taking the course with him!

Great course that covers a good amount of organic chemistry. Not too broad that you lose focus too. Good course to do well in, helps with understanding a lot of concepts in other courses (ex. biochem). If you have Dr. Tam, after the first midterm the reactions come flying at you like crazy lol
