This chemistry course for non-scientists will outline the involvement of chemistry in our daily lives and will provide an appreciation of chemistry from atoms to important complex molecules. Topics will include energy sources, air and water pollution, natural and synthetic polymers, household chemicals, foods, drugs and biochemicals. (Also offered in Distance Education format.)

I'm sure this class is great for people specializing in sciences or related fields. I could even see someone with a mathematics background doing much better than I did in this course. Psychology majors have to take 2 science courses, and as this coure was labeled "chemistry for non-scientists", I figured I would be able to pick up on the material fairly easily. Trust me, if you do not have much interest in the material and are only taking the course to get the credit like I did, you are going to have a bad time.

Easy course, just make sure to study for the final. The material was easy to get through and the textbook wasn't difficult to read
