Overall, Tetlow has been probably my favourite prof ever. He is such an incredible prof and he really wants all of his students to do well. His lectures can be a bit dry at times but he is super great about making sure the class understands the material. The labs were super fun! They were easy to get good grades on especially if you have previous lab answers (they never change the manual). Honestly, its a lot of information but its a great course!

Comment :
This course is essential for anyone wanting to gain background knowledge in plants. The labs were well-correlated to the lectures and the TAs were extremely helpful. The lectures were somewhat boring but both professors were very helpful and the review lectures were very useful. There is a fair bit of memorization in the first half on plant anatomy but the final is non-cumulative which helps.

The labs were fantastic and the TAs were very helpful and informative! Lectures were not the most exciting, but I still recommend you attend them, especially the review lectures before the midterm and final exams. There was a report worth 15% of the final grade, but the TAs answered any questions we had. This course is very straightforward if you have any science background, but you must put in the effort to be successful! I achieved the highest mark of my undergrad in this course.

A great course. Make sure you pay attention to the review lecture and the 'sample' questions that they give it. It's almost guaranteed to be on the exam
