Comment :
This year the course was changed to a third year course BIOM 3210, taught by Dr. Hanna. There was a 10% logic quiz that was very easy to do well in, 15% written assignment that was fairly assessed by Dr. Hanna, 5% peer evaluation, 25% presentation and 45% exam. We had the choice of having the presentation being weighed 35% and final 35% if we did better on the presentation. Overall this course requires minimal work, if you have a heavy semester and enjoy learning on how you can improve your critical thinking skills in reading scientific literature I would highly recommend this class.

Great class. Super interesting, more conversational style than lectures. Dr. Hanna is a great speaker. The material is super easy and most of lecture time is spent doing presentations (2 presentations of 12 minutes with 5 people per group) or with guest lectures. This class was really there to help us learn, rather than to just shove useless information down our throats. In four years of university I think this is the class that I'm going to take the most away from.
