I took this course online in W16 while on a co-op term. Consisted of weekly quizzes, 2 online midterms and an in person final. Overall this course is not hard, but it is very thorough, lots of material on the major body systems. If you do the regular readings and study for the tests and a lot for the final you will do well in this course. You have to pass the final to pass the course. I would recommend this as an easy elective for the biomedical stream of ES&C

I strongly advise going to the lectures and not just taking the DE course. It's much easier to understand and learn when the prof is there to explain things with pictures and whatnot than having to try to teach yourself. i liked this course. i personally didn't even open my textbook and just studied lecture material but that's just my personal choice.
