Comment :
The lectures make it seem like this class is easy, but it\'s actually next to impossible to do well on the exams and assignments. The Niche assignment was described as a creative assignment and yet it was marked extremely rigidly and a large majority of the class failed due to expectations not being laid out properly. The midterm and the exam were both EXTREMELY hard and covered many things not mentioned in the lectures or textbook. Dr. Jacobs told us for the final exam we didn\'t need to memorize any dates, and yet half of the multiple choice questions asked for specific dates. Do NOT take this course as an easy elective, you WILL regret it. Unless you\'re some kind of wiz in biology or are obsessed with evolution and niche, you WILL struggle to pass this class.

Absolutely amazing (and easy) course! Jacobs was my favourite prof to date. You know it had to be good when your 8:30 class was always completely filled! No midterm, no textbook, no exam. Only 2 essays that were EXTREMELY easy. Highly recommend.

Great class with Prof Nudds. There was no textbook, no tests, no quizzes, and no exams. Your entire mark comes from a group paper worked on throughout the semester, and submitted at 3 stages. I went to 2 classes and ended up with an 87%! Great class if you need a bird course!

Great course if Crawford is teaching it. My favourite course that I took in my first year of university for sure, he didn't just teach the course. He taught us how to think.
