Comment :
Do not be fooled by those who say Rohatynskyj is poor at articulating course information. She is an extremely intelligent prof. Yes, she is hard to follow - but get on her level. One of the few courses that have functional material. VERY TOUGH COURSE. Do the readings and put some creativity into learning the material and you'll be rewarded. I was happy with my 63% considering the difficultly of the course.

i found this course difficult. and this prof was very hard to understand. i thought there were too many readings to keep up with and the lectures were rather boring with slides that were not very organized. I didn't really enjoy it. i found it had to stay motivated to attend the classes.

SUPER EASY COURSE. Took it DE. Lots of reading, so make sure you keep up (one chapter/week)! Consisted of two online midterms, a short research paper, weekly discussion posts and a final. As long as you put the effort in to completing the readings, and posting on the discussion boards you can easily get a good mark. The final was one of the easiest I have ever written, all m/c.

Very interesting course, teacher is fun to listen to. Video materials shown in class were quite entertaining and educational as well. Overall I'd recommend taking this course-- it's pretty light weight.

Good course if you want the basic broad overview of what Anthropology is. Depending on the professor and their personal work experiences with different cultures you will learn different bits and pieces of their work and cultures.

Definitly a fantastic course! Get Dr. Gulewitsch for sure. He is the most amazing, funny and entertaining prof ever. I had it as a 3 hour night class and I loved it so much and went to every class. It is key to go to class and read the text. Midterm and exam were very fair, everything came from the txt and a lot from his lectures. Succeed in this class= go to class, read the txt and get Prof Gulewitsch!!
