This is a SUPER easy course. The prof is very nice and will quite honestly give away answers. He tells you exactly how quizzes and tests will be and for the exam, he gave us a practice exam and told us that 8 questions from the practice exam would be exactly the same on the exam. When the exam is 45 multiple choice, that\'s a gift. That being said though, he is one of the worst professors that I had in first year. He is so all over the place, very confusing and its really easy to lose track of what hes saying when hes teaching. So if you dont understand something, go get help because lectures honestly did not help me at all

I took AP calc in high school and this class so VERY easy. Everything is walked through in class and it was mostly review from high school. I don't know anyone who bought the textbook and I don't know anyone who thought they needed it. I did all module hw, studied a bit and ended with a high 90.

This was my easiest course 1st semester. If you took calculus in high school, then 90% of it is review and you'll have to problem. Textbook is not needed at all for this course, but it's really helpful if you can get quizzes & exams from previous years- they are nearly the same just with different values. Quizzes and midterms were easy (got 100% on nearly all of them), final was a little tougher but as long as you study you'll be fine. Labs are very helpful, as you discuss word problems that come up frequently in exams.

The prof was really old but still managed to be funny and engaging. Its easy to take notes in this class because the lecture notes can be bought at the book store and all you do is fill in extra info. GO TO THE LABS!!! They are very helpful and you have a very low chance of passing if you don't. Tests and Quizzes were easy because there are a lot of past quizzes and tests that can be found on the internet and they only change the numbers used but the questions remain the same. The final, however, you must study for. It's hard if you don't put the work in or if you aren't strong at math but there is tons of resources available so even the most hopeless do well

This class isn't hard if you took advanced functions and calculus in high school. the prof was nice. The textbook was 100% totally useless, i regret buying it. The quizzes and tests are the same every year so find a copy of them or go to the SLG sessions because their mock midterms are also useful.

Fairly easy course! The lectures are pretty dull, but its important that you go so that you are familiar with the material. If you've taken calculus in high school its pretty much the same stuff, minus the last couple units. GET YOUR HANDS ON OLD TESTS!! The quizzes, midterms and finals are literally almost exactly the same from past years! The textbook is not needed... haven't opened it once.

Do not bother buying the textbook you will never open it! Just do the modules and get the notes down you'll be totally fine. Get your hands on the quizzes, tests and exams from other years because they test you on the exact same type of questions. Not hard to do good in this course.

Lab quizzes, midterm and final exams are all the same as previous years just with different values. Before the exams make sure to do ones from previous years and to know them like the back of your hand and you'll be fine.

Exams/quizzes/tests are VERY straight forward. Basically, if you can do everything in the modules and lab sections you should have no problem getting 90+.

Easy easy. Unless you didn't take calculus in grade 12, because if you didn't, they go through the whole calculus course in one class after functions. I did my homework with the solutions, found patterns and then just applied them to the quizzes and term tests. And yes, the term tests, quizzes and EVEN THE EXAM were similar from the ones from last you, that is if you get a hold of it.

if you love/are good at math, don't sweat it. i didn't go to most of my classes because they were too early. i did go to the lab sessions. just make sure you do all the modules and lab exercises. oh, also make sure you've taken calc in grade 12, or it can get crucial for you. oh also, if possible, get your hands on the old midterms and lab quizzes. honestly, they are EXACTLY the same as previous years, except they have different numbers
